Right now the majority of our students are not college, career and community ready. We have opportunities not only for college, but also to support vocational (CTE) opportunities for our children.
Big Change For Our Teachers
In my 15 months on the board we have made sure our MNPS teachers are the highest paid in the state of Tennessee. Now we have to make sure we, re-build morale and take time to listen to their concerns. My commitment is to make sure our teachers feel and are treated world-class.
Big Change for our Support Staff
Nashville has become the “IT” city, but unfortunately, our bus drivers, monitors, and other support staff who care for our children are being left behind in the “IT” city. Some support staff makes less than a living wage in this city. With the support of our support staff and voters like you, we want to make a difference.
